The Egyptian–Romanian Business Council held a roundtable discussion with H.E. Ambassador Olivia Toderean, Ambassador of Romania to Egypt, in the presence of Eng. Ali Eissa, EBA Chairman, and with the participation of Dr. Ahmed El-Sokkary, Chairman of the Egyptian–Romanian Business Council, Eng. Hassan El-Shafei, EBA Board Member and Advisor to the Business Council, and Dr. Omnia Fahmy, Vice Chair of the Business Council.
The meeting aimed to discuss ways to enhance economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, within the framework of Egypt and Romania’s celebration of 120 years of shared diplomatic, political, and economic relations

In order to reflect the orientation towards building a strategic partnership between the State and the private sector, the ARISE Egypt Network, chaired by Eng. Hossam El-Gamal and established under the umbrella of the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association, held a meeting with General Mohamed Abdel-Maqsoud, Assistant Secretary-General of the Cabinet and Head of the National Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management, in the presence of Eng. Magd El-Din El-Manzalawi, EBA Secretary General and member of ARISE Network, along with numerous other network members. The meeting aimed to discuss the mechanisms of cooperation between the National Committee and EBA in supporting national efforts to reduce the risks of disasters and crises in vital economic sectors, to identify sectoral priorities, and to develop a framework for coordination with the United Nations Regional Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), to establish a joint action plan for the upcoming phase

EBA, in cooperation with SBF, organized a round table in Cars and Touring Club, with the participation of a high-level economic Singaporean delegation that includes 27 representatives of 20 major companies, working in energy, infrastructure, logistics, food industries, financial technology, legal and retail sectors. The meeting came on the sidelines of the visit of H.E. the President of Singapore to Egypt, which is the first presidential visit since 2016, in a step that reflects the depth of historical relations and the desire of both sides to build New economic partnerships. The round table was headed by Eng. Magd ElDin Elmanzalawi, EBA Secretary General and Mr. S.S. Teo, SBF Chairman. Also it was attended by H.E. A round table was held between EBA and African Development Bank (AFDB) in the presence of Mr. Abdel Rahman Diaw, Regional Director of the Egypt Office, and Eng. Magd ElDin Elmanzalawi, EBA Secretary General and Chairman of Industry & Scientific Research Committee with the aim of identifying the Bank's strategy, and its five axes known as "High 5s", in addition to the increasing focus on private sector development, and reviewing the financial and non-financial tools provided by the Bank to support sustainable growth and investment. The meeting witnessed the initialing of a memorandum of understanding between the Bank's office in Egypt and EBA, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and organizing joint sectoral events in the future
