Joint Meeting of the Agriculture and Irrigation Committees – Environment

The Egyptian Businessmen Association,headed by Eng. Ali Issa, held a joint meeting organized by the Agriculture and Irrigation – Environment Committees of the Association, chaired by: Eng. Mustafa Al-Najjari – Chairman of the Agriculture and Irrigation Committee of the Society Mr. Hussein Lotfi – Chairman of the Environment Committee of the Society With: Mr. Eng. Ahmed Kamal Executive Director – Environmental Compliance and Sustainable Development Office at the Federation of Egyptian Industries The meeting was held in the presence of: Eng. Mansour Al-Jabali – Vice Chairman of the Agriculture and Irrigation Committee of the Society Dr. Omnia Fahmy – Vice Chairman of the Environment Committee of the Society With the participation of a group of members of the association interested in the agricultural and environmental sectors, as well as representatives of the executive body of the association, with high-level media coverage. Meeting Title: "Desertification and its Impact on the Agricultural and Productive Sector during the Next Phase" The meeting discussed the environmental challenges affecting the agricultural and productive sector, the impact of desertification on the sustainability of agricultural production and natural resources, ways to deal with these challenges, the role of environmental compliance in supporting the agricultural sector, in addition to reviewing the vision of the Office of Environmental Compliance and Sustainable Development on the next stage.
