The Egyptian Businessmen’s Association
A leading voice of Egypt’s private sector — uniting the country’s foremost business figures to shape a stronger economy and connect Egyptian enterprise with the world.
Who We Are
A non-profit force for Egyptian business
Established in 1979 under Law 32/1964, the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that unifies the efforts of Egypt’s serious private-sector leaders to contribute their expertise and energy to the nation’s economic and social development.
From its inception, EBA has served as a lobbying and advocacy power on behalf of the business community. Today, in a free-market economy shaped by privatization and globalization, it acts equally as a service provider and a catalyst — helping Egyptian enterprise prove itself both at home and abroad.
Our Mission
To encourage inward investment by acting as a catalyst for the exchange of trade and investment between Egypt and the world, and by providing world-class information and comprehensive technical support to the Egyptian business community.
To enhance the economic environment and build a stronger, more solid base for the private sector as the locomotive of the national economy.
