Public Seminar The Import and Customs Committee in coordination with the Egyptian Customs Authority and MTS

The Import and Customs Committee, chaired by Mr. Alaa Al-Saba, Chairman of the Committee, held an online meeting via the Microsoft Teams application with the Minister of Trade Commissioner, Ahmed Amoy, President of the Egyptian Customs Authority, with the participation of Mr. Ahmed Al-Asqalani - Vice President of the Authority, and Eng. Khaled Nassef - Spokesperson and Media Advisor of the Egyptian Company for E-Commerce Technology. Mohammed Khamis – Director of Business Analysis Department. MTS, and the company's team, with the participation of a group of members of the Association, where the meeting was held with the aim of identifying the following:
- The latest customs facilities and procedures.
- The pre-clearance system and its impact on reducing the release time.
- Facilities Stipulated in the Minister of Finance's Decree No. (262) of 2026
- Decree of the President of the Customs Authority No. (84) of 2026.
- 7 Risk paths, their implications, and how to deal with them.
- Automation of manual fees and administrative expenses and their impact on simplifying procedures.
