Preparatory Meeting For Egypt Mauritius Business Forum

EBA has held a virtual meeting with Mauritius Finance, the main umbrella of the financial services sector in Mauritius, with more than 190 leading institutions and companies representing the financial sector, including banks, fund and investment management firms, law firms, accountants, and tax and financial advisors. It plays a pivotal role in supporting and developing the sector by strengthening the legislative and regulatory environment, representing the interests of its members, building capacity and promoting international cooperation, thereby contributing to Mauritius' position as a leading international financial center. The goal of the meeting was to discuss the arrangements for the organization of the Egypt-Mauritius Business Forum, which is scheduled to be held on September 7, 2026 in Cairo, as part of EBA efforts to enhance international economic cooperation and open new horizons for investment between the two countries
