Meeting with AfricInvest (Netherlands)

EBA has held a meeting with Mrs. Mila Georgievathe investment manager at Invest International, and Mrs. Nadia El-Tawil from AfricInvest
•Invest International is a state-backed fund that supports international trade and investment with a strong focus on Africa, including Egypt.
•The African Investment Fund is designed to provide equity financing to SMEs and mid-sized companies, typically investing between €4 million and €16 million, with a preference for around €8 million per investment.
•The fund is sector-agnostic and has invested in various industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, consumer goods, education, pharmaceuticals, and packaging.
•Invest International also facilitates business relationships between Dutch and African companies, helping firms expand through equity funding and market connections
